Central Florida, FL

Orlando criminal defense attorney Dairlyn Kelly brings a perspective most defense lawyers don’t have — years of experience as a former State Prosecutor. Meet Attorney Dairlyn Kelly

Dairlyn Kelly is a managing attorney at The Law Office of James P. Kelly, P.A., where she brings a powerful dual perspective to every case she handles.

Before joining the defense side, Dairlyn spent years as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s 5th Judicial Circuit, where she prosecuted criminal cases across multiple counties. That prosecutorial background is a significant advantage for clients — Dairlyn knows firsthand how the State builds its case, what evidence prosecutors rely on, and where their arguments are weakest.

Prior to joining The Law Office of James P. Kelly, she also served as an Associate Attorney at a Central Florida criminal defense firm, giving her experience on both sides of the courtroom long before most attorneys develop that range.
Dairlyn is known for her sharp legal analysis, strategic thinking, and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for every client.

She ensures that every person who walks through the door receives the attention, preparation, and advocacy they deserve.

She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law — one of the top law schools in the state — and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from UF. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
